The Ancient Technology Centre provides exciting hands-on experiences introducing children to skills that reflect ancient life. Children can enjoy spending time learning and practising ancient skills and hearing stories in reconstructed buildings from throughout history. Uniquely, groups also become involved in actual building projects, from gathering materials to construction. From early 2010 there will be a residential Viking Longhouse with emphasis placed on experiencing the realities of daily life in the past.
