Covering the East Dorset Area the Early Intervention Team is a service targeting people aged 14-35 who present with the early stages of a psychotic illness. The functions of the team are to raise the profile of mental health, disseminate information about psychosis, and provide education about how to cope and where they can obtain help. The team also aims to support those educating young people about the effects of stress on mental health as well as intervene early to work alongside identified young people."
