Start Bay is a Victorian School converted to a centre in 1974. Located in the glorious South Hams 1 1/2 miles from Slapton Ley , it is ideal for coastal explorations and a range of environmental activities. The centre is undergoing a programme of refurbishment and modernisation and is now warm and cosy for year visits.
